Has anyone seen fox's newest show Glee? What do you think of it? Personally I've been waiting for a show like this for a while, it combines my 2 favorite things, music and drama!

Ooh I love Glee! I'm a huge theater geek so I got really excited when I found out about the show and have really enjoyed it so far. Really wish it weren't going on hiatus after this week's April, a lot of the stories are starting to get really good and it'll suck having to wait till April to see how some things turn out.

I have to say I've changed my mind a couple times about this show. I watched the first episode and then forgot about it for a few weeks. I watched another episode and liked it. Then I watched one episode that I just thought was so stupid I couldn't even finish it. But recently I've gotten back to it and am enjoying it. I hate that cheerleader coach Sue, and any episodes that feature her too much are my least favorites. But I love the singing.

Oh Sue, so deliciously evil, love her! Wonder what diabolical schemes she'll use to get back into power in the new episodes.
How did everyone like the mid-season finale Wednesday night? At first its slight predictability kept me from seeing how truly awesome an ep it was. Of course, the fact that I wasn't aware of the Will/Emma kiss at the end didn't help matters. Need to watch it again. The singing was awesome of course, and apparently the dance at the end was pretty cool too.

I must admit when I first heard of this show it struck a kind of wrong cord with me, but when I started watching more and more of it I really started getting into it, I can't wait to see what happens next when it returns.

Me and Glee have a love hate relationship. Like Becky previously stated, some episodes I think are amazing, and others are just gag-me-make-me-sick-cheesy. In particular, the Madonna episode was a little over the top, and really just Madonna wanting people to remember that she's still alive and making music in my opinion.
Also I wasn't too fond of the Dream On episode, I mean really? Who sings an Arrow Smith song for a musical theater audition? The only thing I liked was that Neil Patrick Harris tagged and bagged that last high note like a champ!
Oh, and one last thing, I really really wish Glee would kinda return to the way it used to be where it was more acapella-ish with support singers providing harmony and baseline for songs as opposed to what it is now, which is pretty much a glorified karaoke, with some typical-American-High-school drama. Yes High School Musical was amazingly cheesy, and featured some pretty crappy-third-rate acting but at least the songs featured in the High School Musical series were originals, not actors parroting someone elses genius.
